Children's Ministry
The Children's Ministry is designed to help your child's spiritual growth and social development. With a regular assortment of Bible studies, activities, and games, there is always something to do and somewhere to be. Every Sunday morning, we have Sunday School and Children's Church. On Wednesday nights, the children participate in TeamKID. Annual activities include Vacation Bible School (for children that have completed Pre-K-6th Grade), Children's Camp, and the Fall Festival. Family Ministry
Family Ministry at FBC Gun Barrel City seeks to maintain a biblical relationship between the church and the home. Marriage, family households, and church family are the key components. Marriage is the first institution created by God, designed to picture Christ’s relationship with the church. A marriage-focused family ministry strengthens and equips couples through mentoring, biblical education, and enrichment events, focusing on preparing engaged couples, supporting newlyweds, and restoring distressed relationships. The household component represents parents and children and may include extended family. Family ministry in the church setting provides biblical resources and intergenerational events to cultivate gospel centered living with a Kingdom missional focus. |
